The Knight doesn’t suffer from these potentially frustrating shortcomings. Magic-focused classes are at a big disadvantage for the majority of the game due to poor Intelligence and Faith scaling, while the other melee starting classes begin with less-than-preferable equipment. This will start you out with a good balance of melee-oriented stats.
